Evan Dunfee
WORLD CHAMPION (2025)
3-time Olympian (2016, 2020, 2024)
2020 Olympic bronze medalist in 50km Race Walk.He has set Canadian records over 10,000m, 20km, 30km, and 35km. He set a new world record for the 35km distance of 2 hours 21 minutes 40 seconds on March 23 in Dudince, Slovakia!
In September, 2025, Evan won the gold medal at the World Championships in the 35km event.
Evan doesn’t just walk fast, he walks the talk in motivating others. He coaches the race walking team (including co-ambassador, Olivia Lundman) at the University of British Columbia, and is also a KidSport ambassador that gives him "a different avenue to chase [his] competitive spirit". Evan was awarded the AthletesCAN True Sport Award for the athlete who "exemplifies the highest values of sport, including sportsmanship, perseverance and inclusion" in 2021. He even had time to run for council election in Richmond in 2022!

Olivia Lundman
2024 Olympian in mixed team marathon Race Walk relay and multi-time national champion over distances from 5,000m to 20km.
Coached by co-ambassador Evan Dunfee, Olivia broke Canadian records for the 3,000m, 5,000m, 20,000m, 30km and 35km distances in 2025. She competed in her first World Championships in September in Tokyo.
An undergraduate student in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia, Olivia is an Academic All-Canadian. In addition to her walking and academic prowess, Olivia is passionate about advocating for mental health awareness in the athletic and academic communities. Olivia uses her platform to normalize conversations about personal mental health experiences and embracing vulnerability.
